Healthnika.com is a Health Digital Media. It publishes and broadcasts health-related news and content. As a media technology (mediatech) startup, our goals include bridging the communication gaps in public health by creating an immersive experience for our audience and stakeholders in the health sector, through the convergent media of text, audio, video, photo and graphics. Healthnika.com also undertakes health-related research and organizes events for the Health sector.
Who We Are
Healthnika.com is owned by Healthnika Nigeria Limited, a Health Marketing Communications firm.
The management team at Healthnika.com is led by the Publisher & CEO, Dr. Tuyi Mebawondu, a medical doctor of over thirty years repute and over twenty years of experience in Public Health. He is a graduate of the Obafemi Awolowo University College of Medicine and Uppsala University, Uppsala, Sweden. A specialist in Public Health, he is the Chief Medical Director at Medway Hospital and has attended courses at the World Bank Institute and Harvard University. He has hundreds of speaking and media engagements to his credit, especially on Public Health issues. An entrepreneur, he sits on the board of other companies.
As Managing Editor, Dele Ogundahunsi has over twenty-five years of experience across Marketing Communications, Brand Management, Startup Entrepreneurship, Business Strategy and Digital Publishing. After years of practice in Marketing, during which he occupied various executive management and C-Suite roles, he became Cofounder at Inventrica Multimedia Limited, where he was Editor-in-chief at Outrepreneurs.com (an online news portal dedicated to entrepreneurship, innovations and inventions in Africa). He stepped aside as Editor-in-Chief to become CEO at YesOrNoLive.com (a hybrid startup owned by Inventrica and which focused on news and predictions). A graduate of English Studies at the then Ondo State University, Ado-Ekiti, Dele has attended courses in Brand Management, Social Entrepreneurship, Human Centred Design (Design Thinking), Innovation & Change and Monitoring & Evaluation, among others.
Olukunmi Akinade oversees Administration and Finance as Director, Administration & Finance. A graduate of the State Finance Academy in Russia, where he studied Economics to Masters level, Kunmi’s career has traversed Finance, Construction and Property Development, Entertainment and Events, among others. A widely-travelled person, he brings in a wealth of experience in International relations and networking, business management and entrepreneurship
